When repairing new electric vehicles (NEVs), BASF Coatings’ premium brand, R-M, reminds body shop painters to strictly adhere to the OEM repair standards. To protect the car's battery life during the repair process, R-M now provides the most advanced quality portfolio for NEVs, which allows for drying temperatures under 60ºC for no longer than 45 minutes. This can be achieved using the innovative Air-Drying and Low Bake solutions from R-M’s Pioneer and Advance Series undercoats and clearcoats.

R-M offers a digital NEV e-book through REFINITY and the InfoR-M learning platform to help body shop painters identify and evaluate the impact and process on automotive refinish solutions for safe, easy and fast repairs.
