R-M recently introduced an innovative new product to the refinish industry – a brand new clear coat generation capable of astonishing drying speed – half the usual time.

With PIONEER Series Race Finish-R eSense Clear Coat, bodyshops can now experience exceptional drying performance, ready in just 20 minutes at 40°C, or in 10 minutes at 60 °C. It even air-dries at 20°C in 2 hours. Race Finish-R not only cuts energy consumption, it accelerates throughput, which in turn drives profitability. With the lower temperatures, it’s perfect for electric vehicles whilst the unique process combines undercoats and clear coats for a high-performance, flawless finish. As it’s engineered with Chemcycling technology by eSense, it uses raw materials from end-of-life tires to replace fossil feedstocks. The recycled feedstock is attributed to the certified clearcoat through a mass balance approach adding to a circular economy with up to 40% less CO2 per KG of product.* Plus there’s no extra hardener needed for the basecoat reducing costs even more.
