ONYX HD offers an 80% reduction in solvent emissions when compared to conventional automotive refinish paint technology. The solvent content of ONYX HD, mixed ready for use is around 150 grams per litre..

Up to 90% less waste

ONYX HD makes waste management easy, with no change to your normal working practices. Cleaning spray guns is simple using an automatic gun cleaner, which treats water by flocculation through the use of Hydropure. This easy to use system can reduce waste volume by up to 90%.

Faster drying times

Speed of drying is essential to optimize throughput and R-M has specified Dry Jet as the perfect system to speed drying of ONYX HD. Dry Jet is a drying system for panel repair which again uses a standard compressed air connection.

CRYSTAL BASES and SPECIAL CRYSTAL BASES : A high-tech solution by R-M

Today bodyshops are expected to match an increasing number of special effect colors. CRYSTAL BASE from R-M, these concentrated bases have been developed exclusively for special effect pigments and packaged in 125 ml bottles.

The CRYSTAL BASES advantages make the difference

- No stirring is necessary, so the mixing machine will not be tied up.

GRAPHITE HD PRIMER CF

Chromate-free and with very fast drying properties - GRAPHITE HD PRIMER CF is designed for the cost-effective priming of a wide range of vehicles. Using the three-layer system, steel, aluminium, and galvanised substrates can be provided with reliable protection against corrosion.

GRAPHITE HD PRIMER CF can be used both for chromate-free priming and for fast, air-dried finishes, e.g. on box-type vehicles, fire engines and buses.

Furthermore, it is perfect for sealing sand-throughs and body-filled areas. At the same time, this chromate-free primer provides exceptional anti-corrosive properties when used as part of the three-layer system and following thorough pre-treatment of the substrate.

GRAPHITE HD WASH FILLER

GRAPHITE HD WASH FILLER is perfect for priming bare aluminium and steel: Among the product’s outstanding characteristics are good anti-corrosion properties, rapid-drying and excellent adhesion.

In the primer filler and topcoat system, GRAPHITE HD WASH FILLER can be applied as a primer filler as part of the wet-on-wet process: after just 30 minutes air-drying, you can apply the GRAPHITE HD topcoat. The benefits of its rapid drying properties come to the fore in the economical painting of road tankers, bulk powder tankers and box-type vehicles. At the same time, this primer produces an excellent finish straight from the gun, in the fastest possible time.

This chromate-free chassis primer provides chassis, construction site vehicles, containers and dump trucks with reliable protection against corrosion – it’s an efficient and durable product. When used as a primer filler as part of the wet-on-wet process, the painted parts are ready for assembly in the shortest possible time, ensuring economy in the manufacturing process.
Its superb finish quality and high build enables CHASSIS SURFACER to even out sandblasted surfaces with excellent results.

GRAPHITE HD SURFACER WHITE

R-M’s GRAPHITE HD SURFACER WHITE has been developed using a special combination of binders and pigments to help ensure that perfect finish thanks to its high solids content, excellent build and flow properties. In addition, GRAPHITE HD SURFACER WHITE has very good overspray absorption.


GRAPHITE HD SURFACER WHITE can be applied in just one and a half coats, significantly improving bodyshop efficiency and productivity, by cutting application times and reducing material consumption. Topcoating is possible after flashing off for at least 60 minutes at 20°C and up to a maximum of 72 hours. Once GRAPHITE HD SURFACER WHITE has dried, it can be sanded immediately.
As many commercial vehicles incorporate a wide range of substrates, GRAPHITE HD SURFACER WHITE has been developed to provide optimum adhesion for use with the range of CV primers and when used as a primer filler applied directly to GRP panels. The adaptability of the surfacer is further enhanced as it can be plasticized with SF Additive or used as an adhesion promoter when mixed with FLEXPRO.

The surfacer is white to ensure optimum color accuracy for those colors that require a white groundcoat. To maximise topcoat performance and optimise covering power, particularly on edges, GRAPHITE HD SURFACER WHITE is easy to tint using 10% GRAPHITE HD topcoat color or CV PRIMER TINTING PASTE, to provide a range of greyshades.
GRAPHITE HD SURFACER WHITE can replace a single coat of GHD-RAL 9010 in two stage finishes, which are clearly identifiable in Color Explorer and Shop Master.

GRAPHITE HD EPOXY

Excellent adhesion and very good anti-corrosion properties are guaranteed by using GRAPHITE HD EPOXY. Epoxy primed vehicles can be stored outdoors even without topcoat. If vehicles require a particularly high-quality finish, GRAPHITE HD EPOXY provides the ideal foundation for this!

GRAPHITE HD EPOXY satisfy through smooth surface and perfect covering properties. It provides permanent and reliable protection on premium level against corrosion and is perfectly suited for use as part of the three layer process on premium buses, tankers and fire engines which are constructed.
In the primer filler and topcoat system too, it offers excellent anti-corrosion properties. What's more it is also suitable for refinish jobs.

GRAPHITE HD HS EPOXY P 5420

The multi-talented product for warding off rust is GRAPHITE HD HS EPOXY P 5420

Surfaces like aluminum and steel demand effective corrosion protection. R-M’s chromate-free GRAPHITE HD HS EPOXY P 5420 primer filler is not only the best in its class; it also offers reliable protection in the commercial vehicle sector. GRAPHITE HD HS EPOXY P 5420 can be used in both two-stage and three-stage paint systems and as a true multi-talented performer, it is highly versatile. The primer filler is grey, and when used with GHD CV PRIMER TINTING PASTE, can be tinted very easily in line with R-M’s grey shade concept. It’s a powerful primer filler for all substrates.

After correct pre-treatment, GRAPHITE HD EPOXY CF builds up a high degree of protection against corrosion both in the primer filler and topcoat system - and as part of the three-layer system.

GRAPHITE HD CHASSISMIX

GRAPHITE HD CHASSISMIX is a fast, efficient and economical VOC compliant painting process. Used as tinted Primer , mixed 70:30 with GRAPHITE HD topcoat it makes the topcoat application of GRAPHITE HD more efficient. As 50:50 mixture with GHD Topcoat, CHASSISMIX can be applied direct to bare metal (DTM) in a single coat.

GRAPHITE HD CHASSISMIX provides superb corrosion resistance over steel and can be applied to galvanised steel, stainless, GRP, aluminium, coil coated surfaces and powder coated finishes.

GRAPHITE HD TOPCOAT

GRAPHITE HD is a highly efficient commercial vehicle topcoat process, which can be completed in a single operation, applying just one and half coats to achieve complete opacity. Based on 22 basic colors, GRAPHITE HD provides the capability to mix 60,000 colors. Naturally GRAPHITE HD, being an R-M product, benefits from world leading color support through the Color Guide and Colortronic 2, ensuring fast, accurate and reliable color matching.

GRAPHITE HD can be used with the bodyshops' existing spraying equipment, so there is no need to re-invest. CV bodyshops using GRAPHITE HD can achieve a significant reduction in material consumption and time saving.

GRAPHITE HD CLEAR

With its brilliant gloss finish and scratch-resistance, GRAPHITE HD CLEAR is its own recommendation as a perfect finish for high-quality vehicles with a solid-color or metallic finish applied using the primer filler and topcoat system.
GRAPHITE HD CLEAR also maintains that superb finish over time thanks to its high degree of UV protection. GRAPHITE HD CLEAR is chemical resistant too.

GRAPHITE HD DECO A

GRAPHITE HD DECO A Multi-Color Additive: R-M has developed the DECO A Multi-Color Additive specially for rapidly applying lettering or a multi-colored finishes to commercial vehicles. Consequently, DECO A is also suitable for refinish jobs as well as for painting small parts that have to be packed quickly. An additional advantage is when using GRAPHITE HD plus DECO A you can dispense with an additional clearcoat. With DECO A Multi-Color Additive you can thus provide a rapid multi-color paint job of exceptional quality very cost-effectively.

GRAPHITE HD TEXTURING AGENT: put texture into your GRAPHITE HD topcoats! Using only as much paint as you really need to formulate the required finish – it’s simplicity itself! There can be no more economical way of making textured finishes.

R-M's GRAPHITE HD MULTI PRIMER FILLER CF P 5520 is the ideal basis for sophisticated finishes. It adheres to a wide range of substrates, including steel, stainless steel and galvanized steel, as well as plastic, and offers excellent corrosion protection. And due to the increasing demand for environmentally compatible solutions, the primer filler for the GRAPHITE HD commercial vehicle paint line is also chromate-free.

A dynamic duo

GRAPHITE HD MULTI PRIMER FILLER CF P 5520 is white. When paired with GRAPHITE HD's CV PRIMER TINTING PASTE, which comes in a range of grey shades, it is very easy to tint. This means that in the CV grey shade concept, it can replace the first step of a two-step color. The primer filler also achieves especially good results when used with the new CV 70M GRAPHITE HD MIXING CLEAR. When teamed up, the two products provide even better flow and bring out the gloss of the GRAPHITE HD colors.
