R-M® Masterclass at Falcone GmbH in Switzerland: Practical Insights for the Industry

Approximately 40 participants from auto body and paint shops accepted R-M’s invitation and attended the R-M Masterclass event held on April 17, 2026, at Falcone GmbH, Carrosserie + Spritzwerk, in Biel-Benken. This hands-on event, organized by BASF Coatings Services AG, was aimed at existing R-M partner companies as well as interested shops wishing to learn more about the brand and its solutions.

Falcone GmbH hosted the event. Its owner, Rosario Falcone, made the workshop facilities available, creating an ideal setting for technical discussions and hands-on demonstrations drawn directly from everyday professional practice.

The highlight of the event was the live demonstration of efficient repair painting processes, during which the benefits of the new primers for wet-on-wet application were presented in a particularly vivid manner.

In addition, participants were able to explore AGILIS, designed to ensure process reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness and which, with 250 g/l of VOC, offers the lowest solvent content on the market.

The event was supported by SÜDO JASA AG, a partner specializing in body shop equipment. Its booth allowed participants to interact in person and engage in in-depth discussions about products, applications, and current daily challenges in the workshop.

For owner Rosario Falcone, quality, partnership, and product reliability are key factors for success: “We haven’t been working with R-M for 43 years simply out of habit, but because we can count on the products and the company’s support.

Direct interaction and hands-on practice were the main focus. “With the R-M Masterclass, we aim to create a format that delivers real added value to the day-to-day operations of body shops, from clear processes to high-performance products that businesses can rely on,” explains Anja Fischer, Customer Advisor for the Bern, Solothurn, and Basel regions. “The high turnout and extensive feedback clearly demonstrate the importance of personal interaction, practical demonstrations, and hands-on training for the industry.

In addition to the technical program, participants had ample time for personal discussions and networking. In a relaxed atmosphere, they took the opportunity to share experiences and ask questions.

Given the positive feedback, the BASF Coatings Services AG plans to organize further events of this kind. The goal is to continue promoting practice-oriented continuing education and direct exchange for auto body and paint shops in Switzerland.
