An intense, but good-spirited competition

The 10 participants

It was the first time Italy had hosted the grand final of this, R-M’s fifth International Best Bodyshop Painter of the Year Competition, where ten contestants, having been selected from the winners of the national finals that took place in Belgium, Belarus, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, The Netherlands and United Kingdom,  met and competed at R-M’s Refinish Competence Centre in Caronno, Pertusella

The ten participants went head to head under the Mediterranean sun in exercises performed under real-life conditions including the refinishing of automotive body panels using Onyx HD waterborne paints and color matching using Colormaster 2, the color tool developed by R-M.

In order to ensure that the competition was not all work and no play, the organizers planned a visit to Milan, sailing on  Como lake plus workshops on Programmes For Success and finally, a grand banquet  in the Villa Geno .
