Ronny Raeymaekers is appointed the new manager of R-M training and Refinish Competence Centre in Clermont

Exciting new developments are in the pipeline for R-M international
training following the arrival, in March, of the new manager, Ronny
Raeymaekers. The forty one year old Belgian arrives armed with international
experience in the field of automotive refinishing and he is dedicated to the
practical application of the latest developments in the marketplace with
customer needs.
Ronny Raeymaekers has taken the position in this European centre of
excellence near Paris, from where he will supervise the Global Trainers, who
travel around the world to train each country’s National Head Trainers. Ronny
will monitor these activities personally in various countries—including some in
Western Europe and South Africa in particular— to maintain his in depth
knowledge of ongoing developments.
R-M training is becoming increasingly important with recent market trends,
and training continues to adapt effectively to customer needs. "It isn't
just training in technological innovation that the National Head Trainers and
R-M technicians should provide in all our emerging and key countries",
explains Raeymaekers; "the training should also fit both the customers'
needs and their specific markets, which can vary dramatically from one country
to the next. Our goal is to ensure the painter and bodyshop’s efficiency and
profitability". R-M is known for its customer-oriented approach, and
especially its innovative training methods.
Ronny Raeymaekers has worked in the automotive refinishing business since
1988, then becoming a technician for an importer in 1998, before joining the
BASF Group. After five years as a salesman in the Belgian Brabant and Brussels
regions, and following additional technical and management training, he was
named sales manager for the Flanders region in 2004, overseeing a staff of
seven salespeople.
As a Manager of R-M Training, he will also be the President of the Jury for
the 10th edition of the "Best Painter Contest" the international final
of which is being held at the Refinish Competence Centre (RCC) in Clermont in
September and is the flagship event for R-M Automotive Refinish.
