R-M launches SUPREMETOP CP, its toughest ever scratch resistant clearcoat *

Since a number of the leading vehicle manufacturers began to offer their cars with the option of scratch-resistant clear, the demands of discerning customers have continued to increase to the point where they expect their cars to retain a long lasting gloss despite the attacks of stone chips, car washes and road salt.

Now Toyota is offering with what can be best described as an ultra scratch-resistant clearcoat!

In order to maintain the extraordinarily high level of durability offered by these new ultra scratch-resistant clearcoats, R-M has developed an ultra scratch-resistant clear that meets the very highest standards demanded under the Toyota specifications.

Called SUPREMETOP CP, this new clearcoat is fully VOC compliant of course, offers a superb level of gloss from the gun and can also be used for spot repair of all areas of the vehicle.

R-M’s development programme was designed to ensure that SUPREMETOP CP
meets or even exceeds the specifications demanded by Toyota for its
outstanding car repair quality demanded by the global Lexus dealer network.

SUPREMETOP CP is very simple to use, mixed by weight 100g : 40g : 20g with the new H 802 hardener and thinner. Just two coats are applied with flash off between coats. SUPREMETOP CP can be low baked at 60°C and can be successfully recoated and polished, if necessary.
