YOU’VE BEEN PIMPED! R-M Automotive Refinish teams up with MTV Pimp My Ride

Live on TV, between September and December, ten cars will be transformed into stunning customs, by the magic of the Pimp My Ride team.

CARIZZMA by R-M, the first environmentally friendly custom paint in Europe has established itself as the perfect choice of the pro customer painter who is applying unique colour schemes and effects to all types of popular automotive substrates including metal and plastics. For the European launch of MTV’s Pimp My Ride series, which will be broadcast in French, Gerry Blyenberg of ProRider has been chosen as the artistic director responsible for customising that cars. Gerry has worked with R-M since the European launch of CARIZZMA and created the four CARIZZMA Audi TT’s, that have taken car shows throughout Europe by storm.

The MTV Pimp My Ride TV series began in the United States and was hosted by legendary rapper Xzibit. For those that have not seen the program, the Pimp My Ride team take a viewer’s car and they transform the car, virtually rebuilding it overnight and a vital part of the process is a sensational custom paint job.

From Wednesday the 2nd of September at 17:30, the French season of Pimp My Ride begins and is hosted by Ramzy Bedia, one of the famous comedy duo Eric and Ramzy and they have plans to turn ten vehicles, some of which are bound to be complete wrecks, into dazzling customs.

Gerry will be using the VOC compliant CARIZZMA by R-M custom paint system and featuring the four incredible colour groups including Carizzmatics, Crystals, Candies and Special Effect Powders on all of the Pimp My Ride project cars and he will be going all out to create the breathtaking effects that made CARIZZMA Colours such a huge hit in the United States.
